Just another example of companies taking advantage of the mobile craze. GameFly, the gamers version Netflix, has launched a web application enhanced for mobile and iPhone users. This will undoubtedly be more and more common in the near future as the mobile market grows. TechCrunch reports that Gamefly used the Usablenet platform to roll out the service for mobile. Seeing that this is a web application it isn’t just available on the iPhone but any mobile platform. This can only be a positive for the company, whatever they’ve invested in this new service should pay for itself in no time with increased usage for their mobile customers.
