This privacy policy («Privacy Policy») describes how Appruv, Inc. («Appruv»), will use data collected by your usage of Appruv websites, application websites and mobile platforms (collectively the “Services” and individually, the «Site»). Appruv is committed to treating the personal and company information of those using our Services and Site with respect and sensitivity. By using and/or accessing the Services and Site, you consent to this Privacy Policy, which may be updated from time to time. The effective date appears at the end of this Privacy Policy.
Appruv collects personal information that you enter during use and/or access to our Services and Site, such as, such as your name, address, company information, financial information and as otherwise defined by law (“Personal Data”). You can chose not to provide certain information, but you may not be able to take full advantage of our Services and Site. Appruv does not use your Personal Data in any way that is incompatible with the purposes for which it was collected or for which you have consented.
Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Appruv. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the Service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Appruv website.
Appruv encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from Appruv so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. Appruv is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the Appruv website.
Appruv collects and uses your personal information to operate its Services and Site and deliver the Services you have requested.
Appruv may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Appruv and its affiliates. Appruv may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.
Appruv does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties, however information provided by you is intended for use by Appruv clients in their prequalification and information management programs.
Appruv may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, or to provide customer support. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Appruv, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
Appruv may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within Appruv to better understand user experience and analytics. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within Appruv to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.
Other than to its clients as described above, Appruv will disclose your personal information without notice only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Appruv or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Appruv; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Appruv, or the public.

The Appruv website may use «cookies» to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Appruv currently uses third party subprocessors to provide infrastructure services and customer support. Prior to engaging any third party subprocessor, Appruv evaluates their privacy, security, and confidentiality practices.

Appruv vets employees and performs background checks in accordance with local laws. Employees complete annual security training which covers topics such as data privacy, information security, and password security.
Employee workstations are configured with full-disk encryption, strong passwords, and automatic locking. Employees are prohibited from installing unauthorized software or using portable media.
Appruv maintains separate production and testing environments.
When you visit the Appruv web app, the transmission of information between your device and our servers is protected using encryption.
Appruv servers are located in the US, in Amazon Web Services data centers that are SOC 1, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified. Amazon Web Services data centers have round-the-clock security, automatic fire detection and suppression, fully redundant power systems, and strict controls for physical access.
We regularly install security updates and patches to keep servers up to date.
